If you didn’t know, Mutual Roofing is located right here in the heart of Elkhorn. In fact, we’re one of only a few roofing contractors that can claim that we’re local to Elkhorn. And we love it.

Elkhorn offers the one-ness of a small town with the accommodations of a big city. We can’t imagine having our roofing business anywhere else. Here are some reasons why we love being in Elkhorn:

Elkhorn Days

This annual weekend tradition has been going on for nearly as long as the city has been around (psst 151 year at the time of this post). It has grown each year as the city continues to grow and offers lots of family attractions. There’s usually a parade, fireworks show, family fun night, and pancake feed to offer. There’s always a great turnout and the fireworks show finale is the perfect ending to a festive weekend.

Dairy Chef

Ask any longtime or even new resident about ice cream shop and most will respond with “Dairy Chef”. It’s the family friendly, local ice cream shop that has a small town feel. They offer generous portions on their soft serve cones, hot food, and other ice cream treats. Dairy Chef is known for their recognizable building and friendly customer service. We’re lucky that our offices are walking distance from the Dairy Chef!

Common Ground

Common Ground is the community center located adjacent to the original Elkhorn High school. It offers workout equipment, indoor fitness pool, rentable community center among other amenities. The best parts? It’s extremely affordable and highly accessible.

Tubing Down Elkhorn River

There are several spots where you can tube down the Elkhorn River and spend the whole day enjoying the sun. Several companies offer rentals including Tubing Adventures, Elkhorn Tubing, or  Tanking Down the Elkhorn.
